A lorry hit the tram shortly after midday on Thursday 7th August at the junction of King Henry\u2019s Drive and Lodge Lane causing significant damage to one end of 2553. Emergency services attended the collision which saw a woman in her 20s taken to hospital with neck pain whilst a man was treated at the scene.
