{"id":7625,"date":"2014-05-16T20:59:19","date_gmt":"2014-05-16T19:59:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=7625"},"modified":"2014-05-16T20:59:20","modified_gmt":"2014-05-16T19:59:20","slug":"midland-metro-welcomes-another-new-tram","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=7625","title":{"rendered":"Midland Metro welcomes another new tram"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are now seven CAF Urbos3 trams at Midland Metro\u2019s Wednesbury Depot following the arrival of number <strong>23<\/strong> early on Tuesday 13th May. 23 was the first arrival in Birmingham for over a month (<strong>22<\/strong> having arrived back on 9th April) and joins the other six trams in being stored in the depot yard awaiting full commissioning, testing and driver training. Full driver training has yet to commence but it shouldn\u2019t be too far off if a summer entry into service is confirmed.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Meanwhile work is continuing on extending the life of the T69 vehicles with <strong>03<\/strong> having recently donated equipment, including parts of its brake gear, to keep some of the others on the road.
