{"id":6513,"date":"2014-02-14T21:09:49","date_gmt":"2014-02-14T21:09:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=6513"},"modified":"2014-02-28T19:58:39","modified_gmt":"2014-02-28T19:58:39","slug":"centenary-square-metro-extension-plans-to-move-forward","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=6513","title":{"rendered":"Centenary Square Metro extension plans to move forward"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Members of Birmingham City Council are expected to approve \u00a33 million worth of funding to go towards the design and development of the next planned extension of Midland Metro between New Street and Centenary Square at a meeting to be held early next week.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The \u00a33 million would be used to draw up detailed plans and to prepare the business case for the extension which would carry on from the line currently being constructed between Snow Hill and New Street onto Centenary Square.
