This time work will be centred around Hillsborough and Shalesmoor with both the Blue and Yellow routes set to be impacted.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In this period trams will run:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blue \u2013 Shalesmoor to Herdings Park<\/li>\n<li>Yellow \u2013 Cathedral to Meadowhall (Sunday 25<sup>th<\/sup> October only Shalesmoor to Meadowhall)<\/li>\n<li>Purple \u2013 remains suspended and replaced by Blue route<\/li>\n<li>Tram-Train \u2013 normal service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There will also be replacement buses:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BL2 \u2013 Shalesmoor to Malin Bridge<\/li>\n<li>YE1 \u2013 Cathedral to Middlewood<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Work which is due to take place during this period will be rail replacement (including points) at Hillsborough Interchange and the replacement of rails close to Shalesmoor.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full details at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.travelsouthyorkshire.com\/en-GB\/supertram\/Hillsborough-works-24-to-31-October-2026\">https:\/\/www.travelsouthyorkshire.com\/en-GB\/supertram\/Hillsborough-works-24-to-31-October-2026<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The next set of major engineering works on the South Yorkshire Supertram network are set to take place during the school half-term holidays at the end of October.
