{"id":64881,"date":"2026-10-07T22:00:52","date_gmt":"2026-10-07T21:00:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=64881"},"modified":"2026-10-07T19:24:02","modified_gmt":"2026-10-07T18:24:02","slug":"in-pictures-uniqlos-squares-spread-to-manchester","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=64881","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: Uniqlo\u2019s squares spread to Manchester"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over the past year we have had several instances of the same advertiser being seen on Manchester Metrolink and West Midlands Metro, and as October begins we have another example with Uniqlo the latest to join the list.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We recently saw that <strong>West Midlands Metro 48<\/strong> has received an advert for Uniqlo using their Thermal Clothing Technology Heattech branding, and now <strong>Manchester Metrolink<\/strong> <strong>3075<\/strong> has received a similar wrap.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3075<\/strong> again uses the chequered design as seen on <strong>48<\/strong> (and as previously seen on <strong>Edinburgh Trams 273<\/strong>), with the only real difference being the location of some of the writing on the vinyls \u2013 mainly because of the different shape of the trams.<\/p>\n<p>This is a return to advertising for <strong>3075<\/strong> after a break of just over a month when it lost an advert for Aperol Spritz.
