West Midlands Metro 48<\/strong> has become the latest tram in the fleet to receive an all over advert with a design for Uniqlo noted on the tram on 3rd<\/sup> October 2026. It becomes the 23rd<\/sup> tram (of 42) to have now carried some form of wrap.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The design of the advert is not dissimilar to an advert for Uniqlo which was carried by Edinburgh Trams 273<\/strong> between November 2024 and May 2025. It features a chequered design of reds, oranges and yellows and is promoting Uniqlo\u2019s Heattech Thermal Clothing Technology. There are no vinyls on the windows.<\/p>\n

There are four trams currently with adverts on the West Midlands Metro now. The others being 47<\/strong> (Monzo), 50<\/strong> (TK Maxx) and 58<\/strong> (Peaky Blinders).<\/p>\n

48<\/strong> retains its recently applied Geoffrey Claydon CB name.<\/p>\n
