{"id":64834,"date":"2026-10-03T18:00:59","date_gmt":"2026-10-03T17:00:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=64834"},"modified":"2026-10-02T20:46:19","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T19:46:19","slug":"around-the-world-in-trams-tacoma-2001","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=64834","title":{"rendered":"Around the World in Trams: Tacoma 2001"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We welcome Saturday evenings in October as we head to the USA for some photos from the T Line.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The T Line \u2013 which used to be known as Tacoma Link \u2013 runs in Tacoma, Washington for 4 miles between Tacoma Dome Station and Hilltop. It first opened on 22<sup>nd<\/sup> August 2003 and was extended on 16<sup>th<\/sup> September 2023 to its current extent. Another extension is planned to open in 2043.<\/p>\n<p>The line has a fleet of eight vehicles: three Skoda 10T trams and five Brookville Liberty trams.<\/p>\n<p>In this first photo we see <strong>2001<\/strong> at Theater.
