With the new academic year just around the corner, Nottingham Express Transit have launched their latest discounted travel offers for students. An eight week promotion (which started on 24th<\/sup> August) will offer the Student Academic Year tram pass for \u00a3315 \u2013 a saving of \u00a350.<\/p>\n

The ticket covers the period from 1st<\/sup> September 2026 until 31st<\/sup> July 2027 and works out at just 94p a day! There will also be additional offers to those attending freshers\u2019 fairs across the city with exclusive \u201con the day\u201d discounts reducing the price further.<\/p>\n

School students can also save \u00a3100 on the Under 19 Academic Pass. This is priced at \u00a3240 for a limited period and is only available by using a special discount code created for participating schools. This works out at 72p a day.<\/p>\n

Alison Sweeney, Head of Marketing at NET, said: \u201cOur offers for all students cover the academic year, but it’s important to remember that they can be used to make everyday life easier too, beyond just travelling to study. Our passes can be used whenever people decide to use the tram, and as well as having stops at all university and college campuses, our network covers the city centre and other bustling areas like Beeston too. This helps new students discover all that Nottingham has to see and do, and keeps locals connected with friends and family.<\/p>\n
