The tour we have been featuring over the past few weeks now comes to an end \u2013 but the weather continues to make its presence felt!<\/p>\n

It probably doesn\u2019t come as a surprise to many of you reading these words that the sun doesn\u2019t always shine in Blackpool! And the tramways location on the Promenade means that over the years it has often seen close-hand just what happens when the sun isn\u2019t out. Considering this tour was taking place just a month before Christmas its not that unusual for the weather to be wet and windy but even so the North Sea looks pretty angry in these shots! As photographer Donald Brooks puts it \u201cBlackpool as the Tourist Office would prefer you not to see it.\u201d!<\/p>\n
The tour is now at an end and most of those who participated in the tour have now long-gone with both 59<\/strong> and 761<\/strong> on the centre track at Tower \u2013 once a place where trams could turn short and take a break with its three-track layout. The photo is taken from the former overbridge at the Tower \u2013 a great vantage point for photos although not so great for the atheistics of the Promenade.<\/p>\n
