{"id":64238,"date":"2026-08-19T18:00:15","date_gmt":"2026-08-19T17:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=64238"},"modified":"2026-08-18T19:24:43","modified_gmt":"2026-08-18T18:24:43","slug":"classical-music-on-a-tram-returns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=64238","title":{"rendered":"Classical music on a tram returns"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Anyone travelling on board the West Midlands Metro over the forthcoming August Bank Holiday weekend may be in for a bit of a surprise as the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra\u2019s Music Director, Kazuki Yamada, will be on board performing a piano soundtrack!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This is the second time that Kazuki, who is one of the most sought-after conductors on the international stage, will have performed on-board a tram on the Metro having also played in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>He will be on the tram as it departs from Brindleyplace on Saturday 29<sup>th<\/sup> August at 1129.
