{"id":6391,"date":"2014-01-27T19:09:09","date_gmt":"2014-01-27T19:09:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=6391"},"modified":"2014-01-27T20:47:28","modified_gmt":"2014-01-27T20:47:28","slug":"oldham-town-centre-extension-opens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=6391","title":{"rendered":"Oldham town centre extension opens"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Manchester Metrolink has once again expanded with the opening of the Oldham town centre extension as planned at the start of service on Monday 27th January. <strong>3036<\/strong> was the LRV chosen to do the honours of operating the first service departing\u00a0Trafford Depot\u00a0shortly before 0500 for Rochdale.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Four new stops have been constructed on the town centre extension at Westwood, Oldham King Street, Oldham Central and Oldham Mumps although with the closure of the temporary Oldham Mumps stop the total number of stops on Manchester Metrolink has only increased by three.
