{"id":63886,"date":"2026-07-23T22:00:21","date_gmt":"2026-07-23T21:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=63886"},"modified":"2026-07-23T19:50:23","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T18:50:23","slug":"in-pictures-east-anglia-transport-museum-returns-to-the-1940s","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=63886","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: East Anglia Transport Museum returns to the 1940s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The latest special event at the East Anglia Transport Museum was a 1940s Weekend on 18<sup>th<\/sup> and 19<sup>th<\/sup> July 2026 as they once again pulled out all the stops to entertain the public who paid a visit to the site in Carlton Colville near Lowestoft, Suffolk. Bryan Grint was one of those who visited as seen in these photos.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As with most special events there was a two-tram service in operation and that saw both <strong>Amsterdam 474<\/strong> and <strong>London Passenger Transport Board 1858<\/strong> used on the museum tramway.
