This will allow both overhead upgrade works to continue as well as road resurfacing on Bilston Road to take place.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday 20<sup>th<\/sup> July to Tuesday 28<sup>th<\/sup> July \u2013 from 2000 each day<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No trams will run between Priestfield and Wolverhampton Station or Wolverhampton St George\u2019s after 2000 to allow road surface repairs to take place.<\/p>\n<p>Normal services will run until 2000 (final departures from Wolverhampton Station will be at 2000 and from Wolverhampton St George\u2019s at 1954) before a revised service starts between Priestfield and Edgbaston Village via Millennium Point until the end of service.<\/p>\n<p>Tram tickets will be accepted on National Express bus service 79 between Wolverhampton and West Bromwich.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday mornings \u2013 overhead line upgrades<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From the start of service until 1300 on selected Sundays there will be a change to the service operating to allow the completion of the overhead line.<\/p>\n<p>Sundays 19<sup>th<\/sup> July and 2<sup>nd<\/sup> August<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trams will run Wolverhampton Station\/St George\u2019s to West Bromwich Central<\/li>\n<li>No service from West Bromwich Central to Edgbaston Village via Millennium Point<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sunday 9<sup>th<\/sup> August<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trams will run Wednesbury Parkway to Edgbaston Village via Millennium Point<\/li>\n<li>No service from Wolverhampton Station\/St George\u2019s to Wednesbury Parkway<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sunday 23<sup>rd<\/sup> August<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trams will run Wolverhampton Station\/St George\u2019s to Wednesbury Great Western Street<\/li>\n<li>No service from Wednesbury Great Western Street to Edgbaston Village via Millennium Point<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During the overhead line work there will be ticket acceptance on local bus services:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>National Express West Midlands 79 between Wednesbury and West Bromwich (9<sup>th<\/sup> and 23<sup>rd<\/sup> August)<\/li>\n<li>National Express West Midlands 74 between West Bromwich and Birmingham City Centre (19<sup>th <\/sup>July, 2<sup>nd<\/sup> and 23<sup>rd<\/sup> August)<\/li>\n<li>All services between Colmore Row and Edgbaston Village (19<sup>th<\/sup> July, 2<sup>nd<\/sup> August and 23<sup>rd<\/sup> August)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Direct debit and pass holders can also use West Midlands Railway train services between Wolverhampton and Birmingham, including Five Ways<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>More details of the works at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westmidlandsmetro.com\/disruptions\/changes-to-service-during-july-august-2026\/\">https:\/\/www.westmidlandsmetro.com\/disruptions\/changes-to-service-during-july-august-2026\/<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There will be changes to services running on the West Midlands Metro on various dates during July and August 2026.
