The move out of the depot was necessary as work was being undertaken in the building.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As most reading this will undoubtedly know, <strong>Gateshead 10<\/strong> is currently undergoing an extensive overhaul which will see it ultimately return to the operating pool of trams at Beamish. It has been out of service since 2013 \u2013 at which time it was in its Grimsby and Immingham identity of no. <strong>26<\/strong> \u2013 and for the past decade has been enjoying a lot of care and attention.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10<\/strong> is now edging towards the start of testing \u2013 and the hope that it may be able to return to service at some point in 2026 \u2013 and recently moved roads in the depot under its own power. That would have seen the tram outside, albeit briefly, but this move out on 22<sup>nd<\/sup> June was a far longer time out.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time of <strong>10<\/strong> being extracted from the depot <strong>Sunderland 16<\/strong> was also shunted outside.
