We have another edition of \u201cTrams &\u201d here as we see a modern tram in Croydon alongside a modern bus.<\/p>\n

Although the vast majority of the London Trams network runs on segregated alignments having been converted from railway lines, there are sections within Croydon where they have to share the roads with other traffic. And that\u2019s where you get ample opportunities to capture photos of two types of public transport alongside each other.<\/p>\n
We are on Addiscombe Road here adjacent to the Lebanon Road tramstop (which has staggered platforms, the platform we see here is the outbound stop for trams heading to New Addington, Beckenham Junction and Elmers End) as we see one of the original CR4000 trams approaching us. Its 2532<\/strong> \u2013 just the third in the number sequence \u2013 which is working towards central Croydon.<\/p>\n As the tram approaches us is about to pass a bus in the very familiar red livery we have come to expect of buses in the capital. The bus is operated by Go-Ahead and is an Alexander Dennis Enviro400EV. It is working on route 119 which goes between Bromley North Station and The Colonnades\/Croydon Airport.<\/p>\n
