{"id":63478,"date":"2026-06-16T22:00:52","date_gmt":"2026-06-16T21:00:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=63478"},"modified":"2026-06-16T19:35:15","modified_gmt":"2026-06-16T18:35:15","slug":"in-pictures-summer-adverts-arrive-on-metrolink","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=63478","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: Summer adverts arrive on Metrolink"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Even more adverts on Manchester Metrolink to report on as the summer arrives with sunglasses and cocktails on the menu! <strong>3075<\/strong> and <strong>3117<\/strong> are the two trams which have received new vinyls as Aperol Spritz and Sunglass Hut both return with new designs.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Both trams were first noted in service with their new wraps on 15<sup>th<\/sup> June 2026 and for both it\u2019s a return to advertising after periods where they were running in the standard Metrolink fleet livery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3075<\/strong> advertises Aperol Spritz with this being its first since vinyls were removed for Captain Morgan in September 2025. This is the eleventh different advert for <strong>3075<\/strong> which included three for The Trafford Centre.<\/p>\n<p>The advert is a nice cheery orange and marks the third time that Aperol Spritz have advertised on a tram \u2013 <strong>3063<\/strong> (June-September 2017) and <strong>3117<\/strong> (June-August 2025). This design is slightly different to those we have seen before.<\/p>\n<p>And talking of <strong>3117<\/strong> that is also now carrying an advert again with Sunglass Hut the advertiser. They too are a returning company to the trams with <strong>3097<\/strong> having advertised them June-July 2025. It\u2019s a completely different advert from last year\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3117<\/strong> has now had ten adverts in its time: Manchester College, Cyberpunk 2077, Lifebuoy Soap, Yayoi Kusama Aviva Studio, Marks Electrical, Aperol Spritz, Wednesday, Wicked: For Food, Hoppers.
