Its expected to be there for a longer period than recent visitors as it will need further work having not been used in service since the tail end of 2022!

In recent years 22 has just been stored in the depot yard at Wednesbury as its looked on at its sister trams leave, come back, leave again and be used in service at various point sin between! But now with a larger number of trams set to be needed to run the service once the Dudley line opens (slated for August 2026) a concerted effort will be taken to bring it back up to operational standards.

Its expected that the work will take at least three months to complete.
