{"id":63034,"date":"2026-05-14T22:00:59","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T21:00:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=63034"},"modified":"2026-05-14T19:26:08","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T18:26:08","slug":"in-pictures-metrolink-3079-returns-to-action","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=63034","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: Metrolink 3079 returns to action"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Having been out of service for around three months (which is nothing compared to how long some other M5000s have spent out of use in the past, as well as some ongoing absentees) <strong>3079<\/strong> has been noted back in action on the Manchester Metrolink network.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It is believed that <strong>3079<\/strong> had been out of service since at least 7<sup>th<\/sup> February 2026 when it was first seen powered down on road 21 in Trafford Depot. It remained in the same position until around 10<sup>th<\/sup> March 2026.
