<\/a>On the afternoon of Sunday 26th April 2026, 19 descends the ‘Handsworth Fly-Over’ towards the Winson Green Outer Circle stop with a Wolverhampton St. George\u2019s to Edgbaston Village (via Millennium Point) service. To the right are the remains of Queens Head Sidings which were originally a cement terminal, but latterly used by European Metal Recycling as a scrap metal terminal sending trains to Cardiff Tidal and Aldwarke (Sheffield), until the early 2000s. When the Midland Metro was being constructed, the sidings were still operational, hence the construction of the fly-over.<\/p><\/div>\n
<\/a>The following day \u2013 Monday 27th April 2026 \u2013 and we see the pioneer West Midlands Metro CAF ‘Urbos 3’ tram 17 as it arrives at Bull Street in Birmingham City Centre with a Wolverhampton St. George’s to Edgbaston Village (via Millennium Point) service.<\/p><\/div>\n
<\/a>With Birmingham Town Hall in the background, 57 descends Pinfold Street on Wednesday 29th April 2026, with an Edgbaston Village to Wolverhampton St. George’s service.<\/p><\/div>\n
<\/a>47 at St. Chad’s on Saturday 2nd May 2026 with an afternoon Edgbaston Village to Wolverhampton Station service.<\/p><\/div>\n
<\/a>Under a threatening sky, the final West Midlands Metro CAF ‘Urbos 3’ tram 37 Ozzy Osbourne stops at West Bromwich Central on the afternoon of Sunday 3rd May 2026, with a Grand Central to Wolverhampton Station service. Trams were terminating at Grand Central due to the Great Birmingham Run in the city centre.<\/p><\/div>\n
