{"id":62899,"date":"2026-05-05T22:00:24","date_gmt":"2026-05-05T21:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=62899"},"modified":"2026-05-05T18:59:30","modified_gmt":"2026-05-05T17:59:30","slug":"in-pictures-006-become-next-flexity2-to-re-enter-service-in-blackpool","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=62899","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: 006 become next Flexity2 to re-enter service in Blackpool"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are now just three Blackpool Flexity2 trams which are out of service following the return to action of <strong>006<\/strong> on Friday 1<sup>st<\/sup> May 2026.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This was one of the trams which had been withdrawn for more extensive bogie work to take place as part of the planned overhaul work and had last run during February 2026.<\/p>\n<p><strong>006<\/strong> follows quickly on the heels of <strong>004<\/strong> in returning to service and now means that <strong>001<\/strong>&#8211;<strong>004<\/strong>, <strong>006<\/strong>&#8211;<strong>009<\/strong>, <strong>011<\/strong>, <strong>013<\/strong>&#8211;<strong>016<\/strong> and <strong>018<\/strong> are all available to operate the standard timetabled service which remains at a 15 minute frequency with alternate departures going via North Station.<\/p>\n<p>It just leaves the longer-term out of service trams unavailable: <strong>005<\/strong>, <strong>010<\/strong>, <strong>012<\/strong> and <strong>017<\/strong>.
