Its delivery came on 5<sup>th<\/sup> December 2025 when it arrived as part of a trio with <strong>555 042<\/strong> and <strong>555 044<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It \u201cpushes in\u201d a bit as there are trains which were delivered in October (<strong>555 043<\/strong>) and November (<strong>555 024<\/strong> and <strong>555 025<\/strong>) which have yet to enter service.<\/p>\n<p>46 of the trains have been delivered to the Tyne and Wear Metro and with 35 now having seen action a quick count up tells us there are still 11 to come! They are <strong>555 022<\/strong>&#8211;<strong>555 026<\/strong>, <strong>555 029<\/strong>, <strong>555 042<\/strong>&#8211;<strong>555 046<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>No further Metrocars have gone for scrap since <strong>4061<\/strong> earlier in April 2026.
