In fact on Tuesday 21<sup>st<\/sup> and Wednesday 22<sup>nd<\/sup> April there were a couple of moves between the depot and the Very Light Rail Innovation Centre at Dudley.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of these moves continues to be for repairs to the original batch of CAF Urbos3 trams (most of which had already received some repair works but now need further work).<\/p>\n<p>The latest moves saw <strong>25<\/strong> come back from Dudley on Tuesday 21<sup>st<\/sup> April and then the next day (Wednesday 22<sup>nd<\/sup> April) saw <strong>32<\/strong> leaving Wednesbury Depot at around 1800 and then arriving at Dudley shortly before 1915.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_62798\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/32-aw.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-62798\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-62798\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/32-aw-550x355.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"355\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/32-aw-550x355.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/32-aw-768x496.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/32-aw.jpg 1014w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-62798\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">It may not exactly be the rarest of all photos \u2013 a West Midlands Metro tram on the back of a lorry has been seen countless times over the years, probably more than any other tram in the UK \u2013 but it has been some time since we last saw one of the Urbos3s being transported by road.
