The Llandudno and Colwyn Bay Tramway Society have more plans to get out with tram no. 7<\/strong> \u2013 and the first one will be tomorrow! They are also offering the chance for new members to enjoy a ride on the tram at the forthcoming Llandudno Extravaganza and Transport Festival.<\/p>\n

The first outing will see the tram (along with its trusty Matador lorry to provide the haulage) out on Colwyn Bay Promenade on Saturday 25th<\/sup> April 2026. This will see it located between the Pier and the entrance to Eiras Park to support the unveiling of the statue of Terry Jones.<\/p>\n

The statue unveiling of the former member of Monty Python will take place as 1200 with fellow Python\u2019s Michael Palin and Terry Gillam doing the honours.<\/p>\n

The next planned outing will then be over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend with no. 7<\/strong> set to be involved in the Llandudno Extravaganza and Transport Festival.<\/p>\n

The tram is due to be located on Lloyd Street near the Town Hall for most of the weekend, that is except when it is involved in the official parades around the town. And the Society are offering a limited number of free rides on-board the tram (downstairs only) to anyone who joins the Society on the day. (First-come, first-served basis if demand exceeds capacity).<\/p>\n
