{"id":62769,"date":"2026-04-26T14:00:48","date_gmt":"2026-04-26T13:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=62769"},"modified":"2026-04-26T08:58:57","modified_gmt":"2026-04-26T07:58:57","slug":"in-pictures-a-return-to-fleet-livery-for-west-midlands-metro-47-50","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=62769","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: A return to fleet livery for West Midlands Metro 47 &#038; 50"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>And just like that, the number of advertising liveries on the West Midlands Metro has halved with both<strong> 47<\/strong> and <strong>50<\/strong> having returned to service minus their advertising vinyls.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>47<\/strong> was the first to go back blue with the advert for Xero being removed.\u00a0This advert had only been applied to the tram in March 2026 but just a month later it has gone. It becomes the second month long advert to have been carried by <strong>47<\/strong> this year with January-February 2026 seeing it have a yellow ad for itv. These are the only two adverts the tram has carried.<\/p>\n<p>Then almost straight away <strong>50<\/strong> also lost its advert. It had been advertising L&#8217;Oreal since February 2026 but its time in the spotlight of having an advert has now passed and its just one of the many in blue again. This has been the only advert carried on <strong>50<\/strong> so far.<\/p>\n<p>Of note is that both L&#8217;Oreal and Xero also advertised on Manchester Metrolink.
