As most reading these pages will be well aware, the West Midlands Metro is currently in a period of expansion with the next extension \u2013 to Dudley \u2013 due to open later in 2026. As part of their plans for the introduction of this service they have recently launched a survey asking for opinions on what the new lines should be called to make it clear to passengers where each service is going.<\/p>\n

For the first time it has been confirmed that they are planning to run three distinct services:<\/p>\n
The survey is giving both residents and regular passengers the chance to give their views on how each route should be identified. Its not a case of naming the lines (so there won\u2019t be a Circle line or the like) but more what the best way to identify them will be in any literature.<\/p>\n
There are four options on the table:<\/p>\n
The purpose of the survey is to get public feedback on developing a set of clear and intuitive route identifiers.<\/p>\n
And anyone who enters the survey will be eligible to enter a prize draw to win one of three \u00a350 Amazon vouchers.<\/p>\n
