{"id":62596,"date":"2026-04-11T10:00:02","date_gmt":"2026-04-11T09:00:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=62596"},"modified":"2026-04-10T21:24:13","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T20:24:13","slug":"metro-to-support-great-birmingham-run-with-extra-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=62596","title":{"rendered":"Metro to support Great Birmingham Run with extra services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The West Midlands Metro will once again be supporting the AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run on Sunday 3<sup>rd<\/sup> May, with additional services set to help get competitors and spectators to the start line in Centenary Square.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Whilst exact details of the additional services have not yet been announced \u2013 more will be revealed ahead of the day \u2013 it has been confirmed that trams will continue to run from both Wolverhampton St George\u2019s and Wolverhampton Station as far as Grand Central.
