This will see anyone staying at the hotel \u2013 which is just a stones throw from the Millennium Point terminus (and not too far away from Albert Street either) able to enjoy discounted tram travel during their stay.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The agreement \u2013 which is to promote more sustainable travel across the city \u2013 means that any hotel guests will be able to enjoy a 15% discount on tram travel. And it doesn\u2019t stop there either, anyone who works at the hotel will be able to get a 20% discount.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Reading-Skilton, Metro\u2019s Head of Commercial, said: \u201cOur colleagues will also benefit from 20% off stays at the hotel, supporting a better work-life balance for our growing team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith trams running from the hotel every 15 minutes and up to every eight to ten minutes on the wider network, it\u2019s a quick and convenient way for visitors to explore the city. This latest partnership demonstrates our continued commitment to helping boost tourism in the region.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Discounted tickets can be purchased on the MyMetro app using codes which will be available at the hotel. Tram passengers can also unlock a special room rate by using code WMMC25 when booking online. A 15% discount can also be obtained at the hotel\u2019s Grill Restaurant and Alvar Bar with a valid Metro paper and app ticket.<\/p>\n<p>The Clayton Hotel Birmingham Director of Sales and Marketing added: \u201cWe are delighted to be working with West Midlands Metro on this exciting initiative.
