As we reported earlier this month Good Friday 3rd<\/sup> April 2026 saw the return to service of Amsterdam 474<\/strong> at the East Anglia Transport Museum for the first time since 2023. In that intervening time it has enjoyed a full overhaul and repaint and upon its return it is looking as good as it has for many years! In this pictorial article with images by Bryan Grint we take a look at the stunning work which has been completed on the tram.<\/p>\n

A look at the exterior of the tram as it waits at Chapel Road terminus. On this day it was working the two-tram service alongside London Transport 1858. There can be no denying that the paintwork is looking stunning!<\/p><\/div>\n
