{"id":61918,"date":"2026-02-25T18:00:31","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T18:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=61918"},"modified":"2026-02-24T20:02:44","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T20:02:44","slug":"netherthorpe-road-tramstop-mural-completed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=61918","title":{"rendered":"Netherthorpe Road tramstop mural completed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>South Yorkshire Supertram\u2019s tramstop at Netherthorpe Road, which is accessed by way of a subway, has been transformed following the completion of a mural in the underpass.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The work \u2013 created by artist Rob Lee \u2013 has transformed the underpass sections that were previously unpainted, creating a brighter atmosphere with multiple colours and patterns.<\/p>\n<p>Alistair Flindall, Director of Lick of Paint Festival, said: \u201cIt adds brightness to people\u2019s day, something that welcomes them in and sends them off with good vibes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The latest mural builds on the first phase of the Netherthorpe community mural project.
