{"id":61800,"date":"2026-02-15T11:00:22","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T11:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=61800"},"modified":"2026-02-15T08:31:31","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T08:31:31","slug":"manchester-metrolink-engineering-works-april-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=61800","title":{"rendered":"Manchester Metrolink Engineering Works: April 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>More engineering works in Manchester Metrolink have been announced with two Sundays in April set to alterations on the Ashton-under-Lyne line to allow track repair works to take place.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Dates of work: <strong>Sunday 12<sup>th<\/sup> and Sunday 26<sup>th<\/sup> April<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday 12<sup>th<\/sup> April<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No trams will operate between Piccadilly Gardens and Ashton-under-Lyne<\/p>\n<p>Trams will run every 15 minutes as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Piccadilly Gardens to Eccles via MediaCityUK<\/li>\n<li>Bury to Altrincham<\/li>\n<li>East Didsbury to Rochdale Town Centre via Exchange Square<\/li>\n<li>Manchester Airport to Victoria<\/li>\n<li>The Trafford Centre to Deansgate-Castlefield<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A replacement bus service will operate between Piccadilly Gardens and Ashton-under-Lyne. This will call at all Metrolink stops with the exception of Etihad Campus; anyone for this stop should use either Velopark or Holt Town.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday 26<sup>th<\/sup> April<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No trams will operate between Etihad Campus and Ashton-under-Lyne<\/p>\n<p>Trams will run every 15 minutes as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Etihad Campus to Eccles via MediaCityUK<\/li>\n<li>Etihad Campus to Altrincham<\/li>\n<li>Piccadilly to Bury<\/li>\n<li>East Didsbury to Rochdale Town Centre via Exchange Square<\/li>\n<li>Manchester Airport to Victoria<\/li>\n<li>The Trafford Centre to Deansgate-Castlefield<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A replacement bus service will operate between Piccadilly Gardens and Etihad Campus.
