{"id":61762,"date":"2026-02-06T18:00:05","date_gmt":"2026-02-06T18:00:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=61762"},"modified":"2026-02-01T08:58:09","modified_gmt":"2026-02-01T08:58:09","slug":"picture-in-time-bolton-66-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=61762","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Bolton 66"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One final trip to the Fylde Coast before \u201cPicture in Time\u201d moves on and we\u2019re in Fleetwood again for another Tram Sunday image.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This photo shows <strong>Bolton 66<\/strong> running along North Albert Street and passing Fleetwood Library. The library building was still pretty new at the time of this image with it opening in 1988, just the year previous to this image being captured. The location that the tram is passing is the site of where the modern day Victoria Street tramstop is found.<\/p>\n<p>As for <strong>66<\/strong> it had been a regular sight on the Blackpool Tramway having been the first \u201cforeign\u201d tram to arrive in 1981, ahead of the Centenary of the Tramway four years later. It hasn\u2019t left since and is still to be found there, last seen in Tramtown (the former Fitting Shop).
