In the lead up to Christmas, Blackpool Transport introduced a special \u00a310 ticket for families to take advantage of the tram and bus network across the region, and now its been so successful its been decided to extend it for the immediate future.<\/p>\n

The ticket costs just \u00a310 and it allows one or two adults and up to three children (16 and under) to enjoy a day of unlimited travel on all Blackpool Transport tram and bus services.<\/p>\n
Jamie Swift, Head of Commercial at Blackpool Transport, said: \u201cDuring December, we saw customer numbers jump by more than a fifth and our special offer for families played a huge part in boosting patronage.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn total, 78,000 passengers took advantage of the offer, and we\u2019ve received plenty of positive feedback on the deal that was due to end this week.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn response, we\u2019ve decided to continue with a Family Saver that offers one or two adults and up to three children, aged 16 or under, to enjoy a day of unlimited travel for just a tenner.\u201d<\/p>\n
