The tram which has been noted back in use is Citadis 228.

228 was hit by a car and derailed just before 0800 on Monday 2nd June 2025 at the junction of Queens Walk/Robin Hood Way on the line between Nottingham Station and Clifton South. The impact of the collision caused the front end of the tram to come off the rails which then hit an overhead support pole. The tram remained upright in the collision. The driver of the tram was taken to hospital for assessment with three people on the tram treated at the scene and the two occupants of the car also taken to hospital.

The tram itself was returned to Wilkinson Street Depot where NET assessed the damage caused.
