The police closed off the whole area, including the tramway, which meant that Blackpool Transport had to operate a revised service with no trams able to travel any further north than Little Bispham.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>During the incident, this meant that trams used Little Bispham loop (a relatively rare occurrence for the Flexity2 trams in 2025) to turn and go back south \u2013 at one stage this saw three trams on the loop at the same time. At least we know now the answer to the question of how many Flexity2s can you fit on the loop (if anyone has ever asked that!).<\/p>\n<p>In other news from Blackpool, new safety signs have also been installed around the tramway. These are of a different design to the \u201cTWO LINES = STOP\u201d campaign and have been seen around Broadwater.
