This isn\u2019t the first time that in the lead up to Christmas that the trams in the Scottish capital have seen antlers stuck on them but it marks a return following their absence in more recent times. As well as the vinyl antlers some trams have also received reindeer names.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Not all trams have received the antlers and names (some of the advertising liveries don\u2019t lend themselves particularly well to having antlers\/names added!) but at least <strong>251<\/strong>, <strong>254<\/strong>, <strong>267<\/strong> and <strong>277<\/strong> have been noted as wearing these additions so far.<\/p>\n<p>All of Santa\u2019s famous reindeers are featured on the trams \u2013 from Dasher and Dancer to Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and the most famous one of all, Rudolph!<\/p>\n<p>As part of Edinburgh Trams\u2019 reindeer campaign they are also encouraging people to share photos of the reindeer inspired trams on social media!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_61224\" style=\"width: 423px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/1.254-rc.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-61224\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-61224\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/1.254-rc-413x550.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"413\" height=\"550\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/1.254-rc-413x550.jpg 413w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/1.254-rc-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/1.254-rc.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 413px) 100vw, 413px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-61224\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">254 has had antlers added either side of the cab window with them partially covering some of the wording on its Uniqlo advert. Its also got the name \u201cPrancer\u201d as we see on the nearside behind the side cab window. The tram arrives at Haymarket on the way to the Airport.
