{"id":61198,"date":"2025-12-08T20:00:33","date_gmt":"2025-12-08T20:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=61198"},"modified":"2025-12-08T19:39:22","modified_gmt":"2025-12-08T19:39:22","slug":"west-midlands-metro-relaunch-safety-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=61198","title":{"rendered":"West Midlands Metro relaunch safety campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The West Midlands Metro have become the latest UK tramway to refresh the \u201cTWO LINES = STOP\u201d safety campaign ahead of the opening of the Birmingham Eastside extension as far as Millennium Point.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Driver training is already underway on the extension and the relaunch of the campaign both in Birmingham City Centre and in other sections of the tramway is a timely reminder to everyone of the importance of taking care and attention when close to the trams.<\/p>\n<p>Anthony Stanley, Metro\u2019s Head of Operations and Safety, said: \u201cSafety is, and always will be, our top priority.
