And that is a tram which was more or less destroyed after a runaway incident on the Snaefell Mountain Railway in March 2016. This was a serious incident which saw the tram \u2013 without passengers on board \u2013 run off from Snaefell Summit and left the tracks above Bungalow leaving it destroyed. The remains of the underframe were subsequently dismantled. A new steel body and underframe has been built and a new number 3 will eventually return to the tracks. In happier times we see 3 close to the Summit om 12th August 2013.
