{"id":61087,"date":"2025-11-28T22:00:31","date_gmt":"2025-11-28T22:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=61087"},"modified":"2025-11-29T12:03:05","modified_gmt":"2025-11-29T12:03:05","slug":"in-pictures-trams-return-to-colwyn-bay-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=61087","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: Trams return to Colwyn Bay again!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Article updated 29\/11\/2025 with addition of additional photo<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Llandudno and Colwyn Bay Tramway Society have taken their pride and joy, tram no. <strong>7<\/strong>, out again with it returning to Colwyn Bay for the Christmas lights switch-on in the North Wales coastal town.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>7<\/strong> made the move from its usual base to Colwyn Bay early on Friday 28<sup>th<\/sup> November before the full set-up for a weekend of celebrations took place. It is planned that the tram will remain in Colwyn Bay for the whole weekend to allow visitors to take a look around the tram. And judging by the weather forecast people may be grateful of some shelter from the rain!<\/p>\n<p>It is also hoped it may be possible to switch on the tram\u2019s illuminations as well to add to the Christmas lights in the town!<\/p>\n<p>This is planned to the be the first of two pre-Christmas outings for <strong>7<\/strong>.
