The match once again took place at Murrayfield Stadium and as we’ve come to expect over the past 11 years, Edinburgh Trams were on hand to help move the crowds to and from the match.

But things nearly didn’t happen as expected this time as flooding on Princes Street meant that no trams were able to travel along the major thoroughfare for a time until the flood waters subsided. During this time services still served Murrayfield but only from Haymarket Yards (from the Newhaven direction) and the Airport. Fortunately, it was possible for a full service to resume around about 1030 and so by the time most of the spectators would have wanted to try and get to the stadium it was business as usual once again!

Crowds try to squeeze on board 275 as it was Airport and Murrayfield bound when seen at St. Andrew Square.
