Its time for another look at the Tyne and Wear Metro performance poster \u2013 and the latest one contains some good and some bad news for travellers on the network.<\/p>\n

This latest four week period is for the four weeks from 12th<\/sup> October to 8th<\/sup> November 2025 and it tells us that 76% of all trains were deemed to be on time within that period. The Tyne and Wear Metro definition of on-time remains within 3 minutes later or 30 second earlier than scheduled.<\/p>\n

That is a fall by 5% from the previous four weeks \u2013 that\u2019s the bad news.<\/p>\n

You would probably be thinking, well what\u2019s the good news? Well, the same four weeks in 2025 saw only 67% of trains running on time.<\/p>\n

Whilst almost a quarter of trains being late is hardly a cause for celebration, its at least between than a third being late!<\/p>\n

Again, you can only hope that things will improve in the future once the new trains have fully embedded themselves into operation.<\/p>\n
