After being rescued and returned to Gogar Depot, a full assessment was undertaken to see what damage had been caused and despite initial fears it may need to be sent away for repairs work was able to be completed in Edinburgh.

This took place over the following few months and the tram started mainline testing earlier in November, before it entered service on Saturday 15th November – making its absence just under six months.

When it was last seen out it was carrying a wrap for Capital Radio, but this was removed in June 2025 whilst the tram was still under attention.
