Euro 2028 may (unsurprisingly) still be more than two years away from starting (9th<\/sup> June to 9th<\/sup> July 2028 in case you\u2019re wondering) but that hasn\u2019t stopped vinyls being wrapped on a tram in Manchester to promote the fact that it is a host city. 3092<\/strong> is the tram which has received the brightly coloured advert, with it being noted in service for the first time on 13th<\/sup> November 2025.<\/p>\n

3092<\/strong> has been going from one advert to another since September 2025 with it first advertising Primark (September-October 2025) and then Cuervo Tradicional Tequilla (October-November 2025). The latter set of vinyls were only removed a week or so earlier but it doesn\u2019t take long for fleet livery to be seen and then covered again!<\/p>\n

This Euro 2028 advert \u2013 which is mainly dark blue but with various other colours in the Euro 2028 brand \u2013 is actually 3092<\/strong>\u2019s fourth as it also advertised Starling Bank in July and August 2022. This was football related too, as Starling Bank were an official sponsor of the Women\u2019s Euros of that year which also saw Manchester being a host city.<\/p>\n

Whilst we see one tram in a new advert there has also been another which is now back in fleet livery following the removal of an expired advert. That is 3102<\/strong> which has lost is Medik8 advert originally applied in September 2025. The tram has carried a total of five advertising liveries over the years.<\/p>\n

3092 was rather appropriately running to Etihad Campus (the Etihad Stadium is where Euro 2028 matches will be taking place) when caught on camera crossing Portland Street having just left Piccadilly Gardens.<\/p><\/div>\n

3102 is now back in fleet livery following the stripping of its advertising vinyls for Medik8. This is Deansgate-Castlefield with it heading to East Didsbury.<\/p><\/div>\n

With two trams carrying adverts for Trafford Palazzo the photographers dream is getting the two together \u2013 and that was achieved at Deansgate-Castlefield here! 3096 on the left for MediaCityUK and 3089 on the right with a service to The Trafford Centre which will call as its named stop.
