To celebrate the conclusion of another year of operation, the final weekend of 1<sup>st<\/sup> and 2<sup>nd<\/sup> November 2025 saw an End of Season Gala and for the Manx Electric Railway that saw a celebration of 50 years since the end of mail traffic on the line.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>To help with the celebrations all three mail vans (<strong>4<\/strong>, <strong>11<\/strong> and <strong>16<\/strong>) were coupled to regular service trams whilst <strong>Royal Trailer 59<\/strong> was also used (and was part of the final service of the season from Ramsey to Derby Castle).<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of the final weekend, Saturday 1<sup>st<\/sup> November saw <strong>Tunnel Car 9<\/strong> joined by Winter Saloons <strong>19<\/strong>, <strong>21<\/strong> and <strong>22<\/strong> whilst Sunday 2<sup>nd<\/sup> November saw the same three Winter Saloons out. <strong>19<\/strong> and <strong>Royal Trailer 59<\/strong> operated the last trip of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, for the Snaefell Mountain Railway it was <strong>2<\/strong> which was ran the very last trip for 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The Manx Electric Railway will start its 2026 season on 17<sup>th<\/sup> March.
