Closest to us is Oporto 196 which was then in the maroon and cream livery and was still often referred to as Beamish 196. This tram today can be found in the brighter South Shields blue and primrose yellow livery. Then alongside it is Leeds 6 which was on a lengthy loan from the Heaton Park Tramway at the time. This tram has since been returned to its Hull identity and remains at its home tramway in Manchester.
