{"id":60476,"date":"2025-10-12T17:00:07","date_gmt":"2025-10-12T16:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=60476"},"modified":"2025-10-12T10:06:33","modified_gmt":"2025-10-12T09:06:33","slug":"trams-london-trams-2544-buses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=60476","title":{"rendered":"Trams &#038;: London Trams 2544 &#038; buses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In this latest edition of \u201cTrams &amp;\u201d we go to the London Trams system and see a tram with not one but two buses.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve previously been in the area of West Croydon for a photo of a tram and a bus and that is where we are again for the below image as we look down Station Road towards Wellesley Road. On the left Bombardier built CR4000 <strong>2544<\/strong> is heading along the road as its not long left the tramstop at West Croydon and will soon turn right onto Wellesley Road as it continues through central Croydon.<\/p>\n<p>As the tram performs that move it sees a couple of buses heading in the other direction \u2013 one being operated by Arriva and the other by Stagecoach. The single decker Arriva bus is on route 410 to Wallington and is a Wright Streetlife model.
