For Blackpool this led to a partial suspension of the route for around a day whilst in Sheffield it was a much shorter disruption.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The problems in Blackpool were caused by damage to the overhead wires at Waterloo Road with the first reports of the disruption coming at around 1200 on Monday 15<sup>th<\/sup> September. The service was suspended between Starr Gate and North Pier whilst trams continued to run from North Pier to Fleetwood.<\/p>\n<p>The repairs to the overhead were completed shortly before 1400 on Tuesday 16<sup>th<\/sup> September allowing a full service to resume again.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, over in Sheffield on Monday 15<sup>th<\/sup> September a weather damaged tree was the cause close to the Arena\/Olympic Legacy Park stop. Maintenance crews were sent to the scene to remove the tree from the tracks. This led to the Tram-Train service being completed suspended whilst the Yellow route only ran Middlewood to Cricket Inn Road.
