If the answer to that question is yes then you could be in luck as limited spaces are set to be available for unique Driver Experience Days during October 2025.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Whilst full details have yet to be announced \u2013 they are still being finalised \u2013 there will just be four places available each day on four dates during October (after the railway has closed for the season at the end of September).<\/p>\n<p>The planned dates are Wednesday 8<sup>th<\/sup>, Thursday 9<sup>th<\/sup>, Wednesday 15<sup>th<\/sup> and Thursday 16<sup>th<\/sup> October.<\/p>\n<p>The event is being planned by the Volk\u2019s Electric Railway and the Volk\u2019s Electric Railway Association as part of their contribution to the Railway 200 celebrations marking the 200<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of railways.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ever fancied driving one of the trains on the Volk\u2019s Electric Railway?
