{"id":60056,"date":"2025-09-15T18:00:24","date_gmt":"2025-09-15T17:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=60056"},"modified":"2025-09-07T08:43:46","modified_gmt":"2025-09-07T07:43:46","slug":"stop-by-stop-edinburgh-trams-bankhead-to-airport-gogarburn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=60056","title":{"rendered":"Stop by Stop Edinburgh Trams: Bankhead to Airport \u2013 Gogarburn"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have another edition of \u201cStop by Stop\u201d with our journey to the Airport on Edinburgh Trams continuing.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In the last edition our tram had just arrived at the newest stop on the original tram line, Edinburgh Gateway, we may have a crew change here and when that is done we are off again. As we depart we pass the extensive Gogar Depot on the right and the former staff halt which was used for crew changes before Edinburgh Gateway was built. It\u2019s a bit rural either side of the tramway now and we soon arrive at Gogarburn. Both trams featured in this article have had changes of adverts since showing how quickly things change on Edinburgh Trams! The tram here is just passing the quiet access road to Gogar Church and graveyard.
