We have another edition of \u201cStop by Stop\u201d with our journey to the Airport on Edinburgh Trams continuing.<\/p>\n

In the last edition our tram had just arrived at the newest stop on the original tram line, Edinburgh Gateway, we may have a crew change here and when that is done we are off again. As we depart we pass the extensive Gogar Depot on the right and the former staff halt which was used for crew changes before Edinburgh Gateway was built. It\u2019s a bit rural either side of the tramway now and we soon arrive at Gogarburn. This is used to access the RBS headquarters and also has Gogar Church the other side of the tramway, a 12th<\/sup> century building but one which hasn\u2019t been used as a church for over 500 years with its last recorded use being 1602.<\/p>\n

You know what to expect with the stop here \u2013 shelters, seating, lighting, ticket machines, validators and passenger information.<\/p>\n

Photo number one shows 254 which is calling at Gogarburn with a service to Newhaven. The platform on the left shows us much of what is to offer on a standard stop.<\/p><\/div>\n

We then see 267 arriving at the stop from Newhaven on its way to Airport. Both trams featured in this article have had changes of adverts since showing how quickly things change on Edinburgh Trams!
