There are a number of different areas that they run services for and that includes the trams and buses in Mannheim under MVV Transport. The Mannheim tramway is metre-gauge and has been operational since 1878, with electric trams coming from 1900. Its current route length is around 60 miles in length.<\/p>\n<p>The photos we\u2019ll feature over the next few weeks were taken during 2003, and several of those we will see have since been replaced and gone on to pastures new. That includes the tram featured below \u2013 <strong>311<\/strong>. Built in 1962 this Duewag B4 originally ran in Bielefeld when it was numbered <strong>413<\/strong> and then <strong>793<\/strong>. It remained there until 1982 when it moved to Mannheim and was renumbered <strong>311<\/strong>.
