Although not directly involving the trams, the fire caused damage including to the bridge which takes the Luas to The Point and a full assessment is needed before services can return.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Luas services on the Red line are currently only running between Connolly and Tallaght\/Saggart. A replacement bus service will be introduced from Monday 1<sup>st<\/sup> September running every 10 minutes between Connolly Station and The Point, serving all stops between the two: George\u2019s Dock, Mayor Square NCI, Spencer Dock and The Point.<\/p>\n<p>It is anticipated that this will be the situation for at least the next few weeks whilst the damage is assessed and a repair plan is implemented.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Services on Luas\u2019 Red line between Connolly and The Point are to remain suspended for at least several weeks following a major fire in the area on Monday 18th August 2025.
